The AE Foundation was established in 2011 to provide an informed forum for an international community of practitioners, educators, students and graduates to discuss current themes in architecture and architectural education.
Samuel Penn is a founding member of the AE. He has taught at schools of Architecture and Design in the UK and abroad since 2003 - as a Lecturer at the University of Dundee, the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland, at Newcastle University, and currently as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Institute of Creativity and Innovation with the University for the Creative Arts, Xiamen University, China.
