Rowan Mackinnon-Pryde is an architect and director of multi disciplinary practice STUDIO NIRO. In parallel to practice, Rowan has a broad involvement in education. She teaches at Robert Gordon University and at the University of Dundee and is a visiting tutor at Wuhan University, China. Rowan graduated from Dundee School of Architecture in 2010, prior to which she studied design at Duncan of Jordanstone School of Art and Design. Before establishing her practice with partner Nicky Thomson, Rowan worked with Shinichi Ogawa Associates in Tokyo and with Reiach and Hall Architects in Edinburgh.
